Welcome to the Valdosta Amateur Radio Club's website! The Valdosta Amateur Radio Club was chartered by the ARRL on February 20, 1947. We are a progressive club that's located in Valdosta, Georgia. We are affiliated with the American Radio Relay League. We are also active in ARES and Skywarn. The Valdosta Amateur Radio Club trains to supply emergency communication in case of a disruption in communication for local, state, federal agencies, the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army. We are proud to serve these vital agencies that provide help for many in emergencies or natural disasters. The Valdosta Amateur Radio Club host 2 repeaters, one on 2 meters with a frequency of 146.760 - offset and the other on 70 cm with a frequency of 444.700 - offset. Both repeaters require a PL Tone of 141.3 for access. We also have an Club/ARES net every Monday night. Please check the site menu to the left for more information.
